Overview
The Xiaomi Redmi 8 is a simple, dependable phone for everyday use. The 6.22-inch display gives you plenty of room for video, browsing and social media, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects it from scratches.
Its 5000mAh battery is the highlight, giving you more than a day of normal use, and the USB-C port makes charging more convenient than older Micro USB phones. The Snapdragon 439 processor with 3GB of RAM handles calls, messaging, social apps and light games.
The 12MP main camera uses a Sony IMX363 sensor, which takes sharp photos in good light, and the 2MP depth sensor helps portrait shots. An 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Dual SIM 4G with dual VoLTE lets you use two numbers, and a dedicated card slot means you can add up to 512GB of storage without giving up the second SIM.
A rear fingerprint sensor and face unlock keep the phone secure, and a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio are included.
